Received a rather dubious call from a woman named Jenny, who claimed I’d won a hefty £3,000 in PPI. She instructed me to pop over to Co-op and purchase £200 worth of iTunes vouchers, assuring me they’d meet me with the cash or a partial cheque right there in the shop. To add to the absurdity, she even requested my driving licence and passport details. Luckily, I saw through this ruse and didn’t oblige. Clearly, it’s a scam!

Fed up with receiving these fraudulent messages!

I received a similar message on my voicemail and decided to ring my bank for advice. They were incredibly helpful and warned me that it might actually be a scam. They suggested I search the number online before returning the call, and I’m really pleased I took their advice!

I received a call from a lady named Jennifer who instructed me to return her call on extension 025. She claimed that I had a Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) reimbursement of £3000 coming my way, split into a £1500 cheque and £1500 in cash. However, she requested that I provide a £200 iTunes voucher as payment for the courier service. Additionally, she mentioned I would need to present identification, either a driving licence or passport. My husband is convinced this is a fraudulent scheme, rightly questioning why I would have to pay anything when I'm supposedly receiving money. I'm planning to contact Trading Standards about this first thing in the morning.

I received a call from a chap named John informing me that I've supposedly won a PPI claim of £3000. He mentioned that a colleague of his would be coming round to deliver the cash. However, there's a catch-I need to purchase an iTunes voucher worth £200 as part of the process to secure my claim. Sounds a bit dodgy, doesn’t it?
