This number has called me multiple times, always with the same spiel about legal threats if I don't follow their instructions. Sounds like a typical scam to me. I’m not falling for it. Just a heads up to everyone!

Got a call from 02071933901 earlier today, some bloke pretending to be from the tax office, going on about how I’d face serious trouble if I didn’t sort out some payment. Proper freaky!

I recently received a phone call from 0207193 3901, where the caller warned me that failing to return the call could lead to some legal repercussions. I decided to ring them back, but the line was dead. Honestly, I'm baffled by the whole thing and suspect it's actually a scam!

I received a rather alarming phone call from 0207193 3901, asserting that I would encounter legal repercussions if I didn’t return their call. Naturally, I rang them back, but there was nothing on the line - just silence! It's all rather suspect, and I can't shake the feeling that it might be a scam. What's going on with these dodgy numbers?

I received a call from this number at precisely 09:34 this morning, 1st December 2018. I chose not to pick up since I’ve had previous encounters with them. They did leave a voicemail, but to be honest, I haven’t the faintest clue what they mentioned. Bottom line, they’re just a bunch of scam artists in my book.

Got a similar automated message at half nine this morning. It’s absurd how they have the audacity to finish off with a “God Bless.” Surely there’s a way for someone to track down this number and find out who’s behind it? I wouldn’t be surprised if ringing back leads to a costly premium rate line! Absolutely ridiculous.

Someone called me earlier pretending to be officer Lisa, saying it was urgent and from hmrc, threatening me with legal trouble if I didn’t ring back. Honestly, the stuff scammers come up with is crazy. If anyone should be facing legal action, it’s definitely them, not us!

I received a rather unsettling call from 02071933901 at precisely 11:10, with the caller leaving a rather dire voicemail claiming that HMRC was initiating legal proceedings against me due to an outstanding tax bill. Naturally, I felt compelled to return the call at 11:35. An Asian chap answered and stated that I had been under investigation from 2010 to 2017. I pressed for clarification on why I hadn't received any previous notifications, be it calls or letters, about this matter. He then asked if my email was [email protected], and mentioned sending me an email on the 17th of October, as well as another earlier date that I didn't quite catch due to his unclear English. He then claimed that I owe a sum of £3,500 and I was told to pay it within the hour to avoid an arrest warrant being issued against me. When I expressed my suspicion that this was a scam, his response was quite alarming - he said I could think whatever I liked, but the police would soon be at my doorstep.

This number keeps ringing me, but whenever I try to call back, no one picks up. Earlier, I missed a call and got a voicemail from a lady, but it was all mumbo jumbo, I couldn’t make it out. So I called back and some man with an Asian accent answered. I asked him what company he was with and he said something about the tax office and customs? He then asked if I was by a certain name. I said not really, not for quite some time now. Then he told me he'd have to check some things and promised to ring me again. I've blocked the number now, too many weird vibes.

Got calls from 02071933901 twice today, the latest about half an hour ago. They left a voicemail the second time, saying it was urgent and any hold-up would cause big problems. Apparently, I had to get in touch with "my department", and the woman, Officer Lisa, claimed to be from HMRC. Total rubbish! They never used my name, just kept saying "you". Still, after all the threats about courts and police, they ended by wishing me a lovely day! Ha! Fingers crossed no one gets tricked by this nonsense. SCRAM!

This number just called me saying they'd take me to court if I didn't pay up. Total scammers trying to scare folks. Don't trust them!

Got a call from this number warning me I owed £1349 and if I didn’t pay within an hour, the police and court officials would turn up at my house. The bloke claimed to be from HMRC. It really stressed me out at first, but then I remembered I hadn’t received any letters or notices, so I challenged him a bit, and he just ended the call.

I got two calls from 02071933901 today, the last one about half an hour ago. The second time, they left a voicemail saying it was urgent and if I didn’t call back, it’d cause big problems! They said to call for “my department” and the caller claimed to be Officer Lisa from the HMRC. What a joke! They never even used my actual name, just kept calling me “you”. But funny enough, after all the threats about courts and police, they still wished me a lovely day! Seriously hope no one gets tricked by this scam!

Just a short while ago, precisely at 11:45 this morning, I was jolted awake by a call from this number purporting to be HM Revenue and Customs. They asserted that I was embroiled in some fraud case and was facing dire consequences unless I rang them back by the end of the day. Do yourselves a favour and don’t even think about returning the call! After some digging, I found out this number is part of a scam, and I've already alerted HMRC about it. The call sounded automated, didn't even bother to address me by name, and ended up leaving a vague message. A friendly reminder to everyone out there - NEVER divulge any personal information over the phone. These con artists will snatch your hard-earned cash in the blink of an eye!

02071933901 claiming to be HMRC, but what a load of rubbish. They kept hanging up on me, then called back threatening arrest for tax evasion. I told them they had the wrong bloke, said I was actually with the police. After that they just hung up and blocked my number. Absolute scam artists 😂😂 total joke!

I got a voicemail saying I needed to call back or I'd be in big trouble. Pretty sure it's not actually HMRC calling - and I can’t imagine they’d end their message with “goodbye and have a blessed day” like that! Sounds dodgy to me.

Hey all, just like many of you, I got one of those calls. Luckily, being an insolvency solicitor, I spotted it was a scam right away. There’s no way HMRC would handle things like that. Still, having a nice and peaceful day regardless!

about half an hour ago, my mum got a call from a woman who said she was from hmre and warned mum she'd be taken to court if she didn’t sort out some issue. the woman said it was mum’s last chance and i think she said her name was lisa. before hanging up, she told my mum to have a blessed day. i told mum there’s no way they would just call without sending a letter first.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, and they were really aggressive about me supposedly owing £1000 in tax. They told me they’d already sent two letters, but I never got any. I asked them to send something in writing to prove it, and when I pressed them on where they got my details from, they just hung up on me. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a message like that too, threatening me and all. It's obviously a con cos HMRC don’t ring from London numbers or leave scary messages like that. I didn’t even bother replying, reckon getting through would end up costing loads anyway. Honestly, calling them s##m isn’t harsh enough, these lot are something else.

My wife got a call a bit ago saying she'd received a message from HMRC. I checked with the accountants at work and they said HMRC wouldn’t ring like that. Plus, from what I’ve seen dealing with them, their number is usually an 0345 one, not something else.

Hope no one else falls for these silly tactics.

Got a voicemail from this number today at 13:32, the message was a lengthy automated warning about legal consequences if I don’t get back to them. They kept saying it’s my last chance to settle the issue or I’ll end up in court with massive legal fees. Weirdly, they never used my actual name, just calling me “YOU” and saying “this call is for YOU” like that. Honestly, if I hadn’t looked it up first, I might’ve been fooled. I can totally understand how some folks might fall for this trick though.
