BT, I’m curious as to why you can’t identify these callers. Surely, it would be wise to hand this information over to the police so that appropriate action can be taken in court?

I had quite an interesting phone call this morning around 10:13 am from the number 02071931644. The chap on the other end, who spoke in what I’d describe as an Asian accent, claimed he was representing Lycamobile customer support. He went on to tell me that I had won a whopping £50,000 in their lottery! He instructed me to pop down to any Barclays branch, promising that they would issue me a reference number and the cash would be in my hands within about 10 minutes. However, just as I was about to inquire further, the call abruptly ended. It's baffling how some individuals resort to such deceitful tactics; it's simply not on.

I received a rather dubious call from this number claiming to be from Lyka, informing me that I've snagged a whopping £50,000. They mentioned sending a text to prove their legitimacy, but let's be honest, anyone can whip up a message like that. They were exceedingly cordial and attempted to charm me into believing their story, but ultimately it all skirted around to them requesting a fee of £450 for 'bank charges'. I cheekily suggested they simply deduct the £450 from the supposed winnings! I must say, I found it quite amusing, as they promptly became irate with me before hanging up. So, in short... total SCAM!

It’s a bit of a sham, really, though it’s surprisingly amusing how unprofessional it all is!

Received a call from this number today. A gentleman with a distinct Pakistani accent claimed to represent Laika Mobile (which I happen to have an account with) and informed me that I had won a staggering £50,000. They instructed me to head over to a Barclays Bank, where they would ring me once I was there. Supposedly, I'd merely need to share a reference number and could collect my winnings in a mere ten minutes. Is this what post-Brexit Britain has come to?

I received a call from someone purporting to be from EE, saying I'd won a whopping £50,000. The bizarre part? They began speaking in Hindi! It's clearly a scam, and I told them to distribute their so-called winnings with their relatives instead.

Received a call from someone claiming I’ve won £50,000, and believe it or not, the number flashed up as being from EE. Sounds rather fishy, doesn’t it? Definitely a scammer trying their luck!
