I've had a similar encounter! A chap with a noticeable Indian accent introduced himself as Nathan, claiming to be with Holiday Rentals. He inquired about my availability for October, November, or December. It was rather odd, as he already knew my name and just the county where my holiday let is situated. I swiftly disposed of the conversation by telling him there was no availability whatsoever.

This morning, I received a call from that number. I decided to probe the caller about how he obtained my number. He mentioned something about "Spain Holidays" and was inquiring whether we had any availability for a fortnight in either September, October, or even November. Quite unusual, I must say! He did have a voice that suggested he might be of Indian descent.

It seems that RentHolidayRentals was keen on renting one of our properties; however, they seemed to be quite clueless about the details. They only had my name and phone number but were asking an abundance of questions about the rental. Strangely enough, they didn’t even know the name or the whereabouts of the property! They claimed to have discovered my contact through some sort of database. Quite odd, really!
