Had the exact same thing! A guy with an Indian accent called, said his name was Nathan and claimed to be from Holiday Rentals. He asked if I had any openings in October, November or December. He mentioned my name and only the county where my holiday cottage is located. I managed to send him off by telling him I didn’t have any vacancies.

Today, I got a call from this number. I asked the caller where they had gotten my phone number from. They said something about Spain Holidays and wanted to know if we had any availability for a couple of weeks in September, October, or November. It was a bit odd. They had an accent that sounded Indian to me.

So this guy from RentHolidayRentals got in touch wanting to book our place, but all he had was my name and phone number. He didn’t even know what the property was called or where it was located! Said he came across my details from some sort of database or something. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
