Got a call from some energy firm looking for someone who isn’t me. Feels like a total scam to me.

I got a call from a bloke named Sam, sounded like a proper Indian accent, talking about some government program for swapping out heating systems. When I asked if it was a UK government thing or maybe one in Delhi, he stumbled over his words and I just ended up hanging up on him.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise but couldn't answer.

I received a rather unsettling phone call today. They were inquiring after my late husband, who passed away two years ago. After a bit of confusion, they claimed it was intended for me, so I decided to hang up. Quite unsettling, to say the least.
