Totally a con! They act like they’re from Norton Mobile Security, even faking the Norton helpline number to sound legit. I’ve already flagged it with the PSA, Consumer Watchdogs, and Norton’s own team. You really should report it too so fewer people get caught out!

I rarely even check my phone, but I got a text from them. On the exact same day, my wife and kids also received the very same message. We're all on Tesco's plan with a spending limit to avoid crazy phone charges. I've sent a stop reply now, just gotta see what the bill looks like when it comes.

Got a txt from this number saying I'd been charged for Norton Security at £4.50 a week, which I never signed up for. Didn’t text back but checked my phone bill and saw £13.50 had already been taken off. Rang Vodafone and they put a block on third-party charges for me. They also gave me 02071369913 to call to cancel the subscription, but when I try pressing 2, the call just cuts out. Frustrating!

I've been bombarded with a multitude of text messages from this number claiming that I've enrolled in a Norton Mobile Security Plan costing £4.50 a week, and that I need to text STOP to cancel. The thing is, I've never actually registered for anything of the sort, so I'm just choosing to disregard these messages entirely.

I noticed a £4.50 weekly charge for Norton mobile security on my bill, but I never signed up for it. I rang them up and asked for my money back, and they didn’t give me any hassle at all. Definitely get in touch with your phone company to see if you can block these sorts of charges.

I was getting charged £4.50 a week for Norton mobile security and I never even signed up for it. When I rang them to sort it out and ask for my money back, they didn’t put up a fuss at all. Make sure you speak to your network provider too and get them to block it.

Just got a message like this and noticed I’ve been getting billed £4.50 every week. Make sure you ring up your network and ask them to block premium texts, cause they don’t do it for you automatically.

I just got a message saying I’d supposedly signed up for some "Norton Mobile Security Plan" charging £4.50 every week. Seems dodgy to me. I’d say don’t reply to the text at all - that way, they can’t start billing you.

If you don't pick up, they can't charge you. They neither have your bank info nor the ability to bill your mobile company directly. So you shouldn't be worried about any fees if you ignore the call.

Got a message called 'Receipt' saying 'FreeMsg: You've signed up for Norton Mobile Security Plan charging £4.50 weekly from Mobile Security. To cancel, text STOP to 60136. For help, call 02071369913'. I never signed up for this at all.

Got a message saying I'd signed up for some Norton Mobile Security Plan charging £4.50 each week, which I definitely didn't do. The text had a number to ring for help, but I'm pretty sure it's just a scam.

My missus was on Facebook and clicked on a page named best dogs, then suddenly she got a message from 64546 saying she’s been charged £4.50 each week. I’ve no idea who to complain to about this, can anyone help?

In the past couple of days, I've noticed charges of £9.50 popping up on my O2 bill. It's a complete rip-off and I'm at a loss on how to put an end to it. They mention something about Norton Mobile Security, but I never signed up for that. Can't anyone help me out here?

They wont give you your money back unless you hand over your bank info, which is pretty dodgy. When you ask to talk to a manager or someone in charge, they just say they're the top boss and avoid any proper answers. Plus, some of the people on the phone are really cheeky and will just hang up if they can't sort out your questions. Proper bad service all round.

Got a message from 64546 outta nowhere saying I won something, then they take £4.50 from me. They took the money twice over two days! Even after I texted stop, they kept sending messages. When I called to sort it out, they asked for my bank info to give a refund. I said I wanted a cheque instead, but they refused. When I mentioned getting the police involved, some woman with a weird accent just said “do what you want.” Honestly, this feels like a proper scam so watch out!

Looks like this is linked to one of those dodgy Premium Text scams (this one was for Norton Mobile Security through freenet gmbh). I contacted my phone company but they just brushed it off, saying I must've agreed to it somehow. The UK watchdog, Phonepayplus, mentions that sending a stop text to that number will cost you 12p. Pretty frustrating all round.

I got a message telling me to text a certain number to cancel a service I never signed up for, or else I’ll be billed every month. Sounds pretty dodgy to me, like a scam. I reckon if I text that number, it’ll end up charging my phone somehow. The number they want you to text is 64546.
