It was claimed that someone in the household was receiving benefits, but this turned out to be untrue. When asked who was calling, the person kept stating her name as Kelly. I expressed that I wasn't interested in her name and simply wanted to know the name of the company she was calling from. She, speaking with an Irish accent, became increasingly hostile towards how I was addressing her. As a result, I provided her with a thorough verbal response in straightforward language, intending to give her a memorable experience. Her number has now been blocked, although this might not be too helpful as they may attempt to call again using a different spoofed number.

Somebody called saying there was a benefits recipient in the house, which isn’t true. When I asked who they were with, the lady kept saying her name was Kelly. I told her I wasn’t bothered about her name, just wanted to know the company she represented. She had an Irish accent and soon got a bit stroppy about how I spoke to her. So I gave her a mouthful in proper bad language to teach her a lesson. I’ve blocked the number now, though I doubt it’ll stop them - they’ll just ring back from another fake number.

I can't help but wonder about the identities of these individuals.
