I’d already put this number on my phone’s block list, and just today I got an alert saying it tried to ring me but was stopped by the blocking app. I only bother blocking scammers. If you have an android phone and this number pops up, tap the little “i” in a circle next to the call, then choose “Add to blacklist” to stop it for good. Trust me, it works.

Nice bloke called me and even used my name. Claimed I requested info ages ago and mentioned my email - which is pointless cos it's all online anyway! Got a call on my landline, and it started with, “Hi, is that…?” (my name). I said yes, and they went, “Great, how are you?”... the usual stuff. I asked who they were (knew it was a scam straight away) and they said, “x Property Investment Company in Canary Wharf”... the typical spiel. Normally I’d mess about with these types but wasn’t in the mood today so I just asked if they wanted my bank details. They laughed and said “No!” so I just told them “all the best” and hung up. Proper funny!

I received a call from this number two days in a row. On the second occasion, they left a voicemail claiming that I had asked for a brochure, which is quite ridiculous as I certainly hadn't.
