Absolutely an unwanted caller, no doubt about it! He had a thick accent that sounded foreign, and he boldly asserted he was phoning from Canary Wharf. He seemed to know my entire name and mentioned something about my supposed interest in online financial updates. Then, he proceeded to push me to start investing in some dodgy scheme. Clearly, just another financial con artist trying to pull a fast one!

Got a call from a bloke with a posh English accent saying he worked in Canary Wharf. He somehow knew my name and kicked off by saying he'd seen me reading financial stuff online. I didn’t hang about though, cut him off straight away and blocked the number - clearly one of those scammers trying to sell dodgy investment schemes. This one actually sounded a lot more legit than the typical call centre ones from India. Proper risk for older folks who might fall for this kind of thing.

I got a call from this number, but they didn't hang up properly so I ended up overhearing a voicemail and sort of caught a bit of another agent chatting - couldn’t really make it all out though. Feels like it might be from some kind of call centre.
