A bit of a bother, to be honest.

02070978812, just another PPI con, claimed I was due £3000. When I started asking loads of questions, they cut the call. It was an Indian guy on the line. Honestly, I sometimes mess about with them just to kill some time and waste theirs!

02070978812 and any numbers that look alike - best just to ignore them, if it was something urgent they'd leave a message but scammers dont bother with that so i just block these numbers right away! (tho it can be quite amusing playing along with them!)

Someone phoned me but I didn’t pick up, so when I called back it said the number wasn’t in service. HERE’S A QUICK TIP: If you get a call from a number you don’t recognise, just let it ring out or hang up straight away, then try calling back. If it’s a dodgy number, you won’t get through, which can save you a lot of hassle and money by not answering in the first place.

Every time I pick up, it's silence on the other end. Seems like they're just verifying the number before they launch their scam. When I try ringing back, I get the old "number unavailable" routine. Definitely sounds like one of those automated calls - best to just disregard it altogether!

Got a call from someone called Jennifer at claims advisory, saying I was owed a PPI payout of £3639. She reckoned it was settled and they were sending me £2439 by cheque and £1200 in cash. Got a call from Daniel Stark about a PPI claim of £3639, saying I’d get £3000 by cheque and £1200 in cash. Told me to ring this number to sort out the details and get the money. I usually dont pick up calls from unknown numbers, but this one actually left a voicemail on my answering machine. A guy named Michael said my claim with Barclays was sorted and there was a cheque waiting for me, over £2000. He told me to call back on the same number and ask for him by name, even gave his extension. Sounded dodgy to me, and after checking this site, its def a scam. So ive blocked the number now.

Some bloke calling himself "Peter" from "The Claims Advisory" rang my dad to say he had a payment protection insurance payout of about £2439 from Lloyds TSB, though the call was pretty muffled. They told him to ring 020 0978812 ext 209. Trouble is, my dad died back in 2017. These scammers are absolutely disgusting, taking advantage of innocent people just to line their own pockets. I'd say we should share this number on every scam-baiting forum we can find, so they get a bit of backlash themselves.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent who said her name was Suzanne Miller. She rang about a PPI claim from Halifax worth £3,639, which would apparently be paid out as two amounts: £2,439 by cheque and £1,200 in cash. She mentioned someone would come to my house to drop off the money. To confirm everything, she told me to ring back on the same number with a reference and an ID number anytime between 9 in the morning and 6 in the evening. Claimed she was calling from Bristol. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said her name was Nancy. She told me about a PPI claim I supposedly made a few months back, which actually checks out with what I remember. She provided a claim number, a reference, and a phone number, and mentioned that I’m owed £3639, which would be paid by cheque and cash. I haven’t rung the number yet! Strangely, it sounds like loads of people are getting the same amount offered. Feels a bit sketchy to me.

Got a call from a bloke named John with an accent that wasn’t local, sounded dodgy. Like others have said, he was on about some PPI payout, said I was owed £3639 - £2439 by cheque and £1200 cash. He gave me some reference numbers and told me to ring back to get the cash. Then I got another call from Alex, different number 01618188215, who said they’d sort getting the money to me but wanted me to pay £300 in Amazon vouchers first. Total scam, I reported it to the police via the Action Fraud line.

I got a call from a woman who said she was with Reclaim Services, telling me I owed a loan to some company. She mentioned all the exact dates, making it sound legit. Apparently, I was meant to get a total of £3639, with £2439 coming as a cheque and £1200 in cash. That struck me as odd because usually they just send a letter and a cheque. She rang me from this number and told me to ring back and ask for the accounts department. If it was genuine, why didn’t she just transfer me through? I didn’t bother calling back since I’ve never heard of being paid in cash before.

Like some folks here, I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent about a loan supposedly tied to Lloyds Bank. She mentioned I'd be getting £3,639 in PPI refund, split as £2,449 by cheque and £1,200 in cash. She introduced herself as Susanne from Reclaim Services, extension 203. Just like others mentioned, she said they’d post a letter along with the cheque.

I got a call from an Asian lady with a really deep voice, which was kinda hard to understand. She said I owed some kind of PPI refund, about £3,629, from a £5,000 loan I supposedly took in 2005. That caught me off guard since I never knew about any of this. She gave me this number to call back - 02070978812 - said it's their claims department. Honestly, they can wait ages before I bother calling that number.

Got a call from a woman with a strong accent and patchy English, saying I had some kind of PPI insurance claim. Thing is, I’ve never even taken out PPI before, so I knew it was rubbish straight away.

The lady on the phone was difficult to follow, but she claimed to be calling from an Insurance Company about some funds owed to my dad, who sadly passed away from COVID-19 recently. Honestly, if there was any money due, I’d expect to hear something official from my dad’s Solicitors by post, not a call like this. I’m definitely not giving this any credibility.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying I was owed over £3000 from a PPI claim. He tried to get me to ring a premium rate number. Definitely watch out for what info you share with these people!

Got a call from a bloke with a thick Asian accent, sounded like he was reading off a set script, talking about some pre-approved cash or something like that... total scam for sure.
