Got a call from a woman, sounded robotic, said she was from HMRC about some tax forms I supposedly left unsigned. Total con, obviously. Blocked the number straight away.

Scam pretending to be HM Revenue & Customs. I got a call with an automated voice saying I hadn’t paid my taxes and there was an arrest warrant for me. It was really upsetting! I rang back to check why they were calling and playing that recorded nonsense if it wasn’t true. Total scam and harassment. Then some bloke with a foreign accent just told me to get lost with a rude word.

Fake HM Revenue & Customs call. I picked up and got one of those automated messages saying I haven’t paid my taxes and there’s a warrant for my arrest. Proper stressful! When I rang back to ask why they’d call with rubbish like that, it was obvious it wasn’t legit - just harassment. Then some guy with a foreign accent snapped at me telling me to get lost, just like another time I had. Why on earth don’t the police do something about these annoying calls???
