Got an email saying it was from PayPal, telling me I’d bought an iPhone 15 costing £1499, and that it was being sent to a Layla Burton in Richmond. The message asked me to ring 02070975714. Just a heads up, don’t phone that number - it’s definitely not PayPal. I rang PayPal’s real customer service number and they confirmed it’s a scam. Luckily, no money has been taken from my bank.

Got an email with a PDF from “PayPal”? Don’t open it or call any numbers they give. It’s a trick to fool you! No cash has been taken out, and you definitely didn’t order anything on eBay or PayPal. Just trash the email straight away. Total scam!
