I received no less than four phone calls in a matter of hours, all promoting a brand-new iPhone and a supposed upgrade from Vodafone for £30. When I politely declined, the lady on the other end became exceedingly rude and insistent. I made it clear that I didn’t wish to be contacted again. Yet, within the hour, I got another call from her. She claimed to be following up on her previous offer and asked me about my current bill. I pointed out that if she truly worked for Vodafone, she ought to already have that information, to which she abruptly hung up. It’s clearly a total scam. I've now blocked the number.

Had a rather dodgy call purportedly from Vodafone. They were fishing for my personal information, but it felt rather suspicious!

Tried to flog me an iPhone for a mere £40. Oh, how I wish that were true!

Got a call from someone trying to sell me the newest iPhone for £30 a month. I declined, and then suddenly they started pushing an EE deal that would supposedly cut my current bill by nearly 50%. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

I ignored both calls, even though they rang me twice. From what I've heard before, these people pretend to be different phone providers to scam you and get your personal details.

They've rung me a couple of times before, but I never picked up. This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to get through.

Got a call from someone saying they were with EE trying to sell me a new contract. I told them to quit ringing me but the bloke just laughed and said they’d keep ringing me over and over. So I just muted the phone and waited till he hung up. Now I’m getting calls from loads of different numbers instead.

Got a call from this number, but when I tried ringing back it said the number isn’t valid. They also dropped a weird message on my voicemail. After seeing the other comments, I decided to block them.

Got loads of calls from someone saying they’re Vodafone, but it’s clear they’re not. I kept telling them I wasn’t a Vodafone customer and had zero plans to join. When they asked which provider I used, I told them it’s none of their concern. Also asked nicely to take my number off their list and stop ringing me. Didn’t happen. So I just blocked them.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be offering a free iPhone with cheap monthly Vodafone plans. They didn’t even know my name, so I reckon they’re just randomly ringing numbers that start like Vodafone ones. Total scam call, watch out!

Got two calls today from someone pretending to be EE, trying to flog me the new iPhone 15. I hung about on the line for around 20 seconds - heard somewhere that if you keep these dialling systems engaged long enough, it logs the call as a failed sale and might flag your number so they stop bothering you. The person calling got a bit annoyed and ended up telling me to ‘foxtrot Oscar’ - which made me chuckle. Fingers crossed that means no more calls from these lot!

I got a usual spam call from someone pretending to be with Vodafone, pushing me to switch my plan for the new iPhone 15. To get them off my back, I told them I worked at Vodafone too and even threatened to call the cops on them. That was enough for them to hang up straight away.

This bloke claimed he was from O2, offering a 40% discount with unlimited data for just £5 a month. I chatted with him for a good while, telling him I’d actually got a better offer last month. Still, he kept pushing hard to make the sale. Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for these poor guys, but their managers ought to be dealt with harshly.

This number rang me up pretending to be from Vodafone. When I asked how they got my number since I’m not even with Vodafone, the person got really annoyed and threatened to keep calling me nonstop! Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

Someone called me claiming to be from EE, offering a 5G Ultra SIM deal for just £7.00 a month. They said it included unlimited calls, texts, and internet data, plus 2000 minutes for international calls, all on a 24-month contract. Honestly, it sounded far too good to be legit.
