I had a rather unusual phone call on my mobile from a chap named “Johnny Clay.” His accent was distinctly foreign, not at all what you'd expect from someone in Britain. He claimed I was due to receive a sum of £2,400, but there was a catch-I had to purchase £240 worth of UKash vouchers to cover some supposed government fees. What raised my eyebrows was that he already knew my name and postcode! He insisted that in order to claim the money, I needed to inform him when I'd be available for a solicitor named Julie Shaw to deliver a cheque. It seems the police reckon he might have obtained my postcode from the electoral register. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I’ve got to say, this outfit reeks of a con trick. They’ll attempt to hawk Ucash vouchers while spinning tales about some PPI refund you supposedly acquired.
Make no mistake, they are NOT the Ministry of Justice! Should you find yourself answering one of their calls, refrain from handing over any cash, and I urge you to get in touch with Action Fraud at 0300 123 2040. Stay cautious, folks!

Received a call from someone claiming to be sending me money related to PPI, and they mentioned dispatching a woman to my home to sort out some legal paperwork. The moment I questioned the legitimacy of the situation, the caller abruptly ended the call. The bloke identified himself as Kelvin Bell and insisted he was affiliated with the Ministry of Justice. Strange thing is, I've never applied for any PPI in the first place!

This is definitely a fraudulent scheme. Steer clear of purchasing any ucash certificates; they're not going to come knocking on your door with a cheque in hand!

A chap claiming to be from the Ministry of Justice called my mum about a loan she supposedly had, insisting that she was owed some money. It's all rather puzzling!
