Crikey, it’s becoming a bit of a nightmare, isn’t it? They keep ringing me day in and day out, completely relentless. It’s baffling when they introduce themselves one moment, then act as if I haven’t got a clue who they are the next. I often have to say, “Pardon, I didn’t catch that!” and their response just makes no sense, leaving me to wonder what on earth they’re on about. It’s got to the point where they’re asking about three different folks in our home and I’ve started giving them the cold shoulder. Once they sense they’re getting nowhere, they just drop the line, only to bombard me again shortly after. When I answer, I’m greeted by silence before they hang up again. It’s an endless loop! I’m really at a loss on how to block them on my landline, and despite my numerous requests to be removed from their list, they just keep on coming back. It feels like this charade has been ongoing for ages now!

I received a call about an hour back from a lady with a foreign accent claiming to be from “United Benefits.” My phone’s security app flagged the number as potentially dubious, so I opted to cut the conversation short. It’s always better to be cautious!
