Beware of this phone number! It was linked to a deceitful individual who swindled my father-in-law out of a substantial sum of money. He received a notification on his computer, which was a ruse masquerading as a message from Microsoft, claiming his device had been compromised. When he called the number, someone with an Indian accent answered and insisted they could resolve the issue for £198. Sadly, they managed to persuade my father-in-law to share his screen, leading to them obtaining his personal and debit card information. They then used PayPal to make off with the cash. Stay vigilant and steer clear of this number!

I received a rather unsettling call from this number bright and early on Saturday morning, 30th September 2017, well before nine. The chap on the line insisted that I should get rid of my McAfee software due to some non-existent issues. Naturally, I hung up and promptly rang up McAfee myself, only to discover that this number has absolutely no ties to them. They assured me that under no circumstances would they reach out like that if there actually was a problem. Quite clearly, this is a scam, and a rather sinister one at that!
