So this woman called me and started by asking if I’d been in any car crashes recently. I told her I don’t own a car, so obviously no. I was pretty polite, trying to be friendly and all that. Then she asked if I’d had any injuries lately, and I said no again. Right after that, the call just dropped. That’s when it hit me - I’d been chatting to a recorded message pretending to sound human. Felt a bit harsh, really. I was trying to be nice, thinking maybe it’s a tough job for them, and they just cut me off straight away.
