Received a call this morning, but the message on my answering machine was all jumbled and hard to decipher. It honestly sounded like someone was in distress, which gave me quite a fright at first. Thankfully, after having a quick look at this site, I've realised it’s just another one of those annoying nuisance calls. What a relief!

They called but hung up once I let my ansafone pick up. I checked here and saw it was Donald Russel, whose meat I've bought before. I still get their flyers but haven’t ordered lately, so I suppose that’s why they phoned. Nothing dodgy or annoying about it - just a business trying to get by, so no harm done. I’ll block the number though to avoid wasting time answering.

I ignored the call and honestly, happy I did. They’ve phoned me twice now claiming to be from Donald Russell. Bit disappointing they need to go that far. They also spam my inbox daily. I'm a regular at Donald Russel and got a call from this number. Rang them up to check and they said yeah, it's them contacting customers who haven't ordered recently. I told them their calls are annoying and borderline harassment. I said I'll reach out if I want to buy, no need for calls. They took my number off their marketing list now. Bit of a shame as their food's great, but I don't want some rude person calling me to try and sell stuff. Hope someone at Donald Russel sees this.

But recently, I’ve been getting unwanted calls from this number, and it worries me that they still hold onto my personal info after all this time. I cut ties with them due to bad customer service and explicitly asked them to delete my data. It’s really frustrating that a company would resort to cold calling to chase sales, especially when I made it clear I’m not interested anymore.

Got a phone yesterday from a lady offering meat boxes from Donald Russell at some discounted rate. When I said I wasn't interested right away, she said I could place the order now and get it delivered in November. She actually knew my address too. I told her I’d consider it and she said she’d ring back today. I never bother ordering from cold calls though.

They phoned me a couple of times but I never picked up and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. Having seen what others said, I looked it up and found out that Donald Russell does have a place in London but it’s trade only and has a separate number. So I’d be careful about placing an order or sharing card info with them over the phone.

This bloke phoned me saying he was calling from Donald Russell, and its the second time I’ve had a call. Talked really posh and was trying to give me some kind of thank you offer for being a loyal customer. Pretty clear to me it’s another scam. The number was from London too. If their company is in Scotland, why are they calling folks here and saying they’re customers? How do they even know that?

He claimed to be calling from Donald Russell, but since they’re up in Scotland, I figured it was probably a London call centre ringing me cold. He mentioned I hadn’t bought from them for a bit and wanted to pitch some exclusive offers not listed online. I told him I was at work and couldn’t talk then, asked if he could just send the info by post or email. Had to keep saying it wasn’t a good time ‘cause I was working. Ended up blocking the number.

As soon as I answer and catch that call centre noise in the background, I cut them off quick, telling them to remove me from their list before I hang up. I reckon I’ve blocked like 50 different versions of this number now, and honestly, it’s getting really annoying.
