It kicks off with an automated message telling you that apparently you’ve been involved in a car crash that wasn’t your fault. If you reply no, the call just ends abruptly, but if you say yes, it puts you through to an actual person. I usually play along and say yes just to mess with them, and this time the number connected me to someone who sounded like they were from India. Seriously, how is this kind of thing still happening?!

That Sandra woman kept calling me about some dodgy car accident scam, got my digits from some rubbish place called expedite. I kept telling her “don’t call this number again” but she just kept pushing and asking the same boring question over and over. Honestly can’t believe others are calling it harassment, come on folks, this is way worse - it’s proper dangerous. These scammers have our info but we don’t know who they really are, and some people could easily get caught up in their traps - it’s a real threat, not just annoying.
