9 yearsI’m gonna track you down.9 yearsI got talking to this guy named David, proper nice bloke he was, couldn’t have been more helpful. I was after a loan, but first they wanted me to pay £200 upfront before anything could happen. Then this manager, Shahanaj Begum from Bangladesh, rang me up saying I needed to cough up another £650. I didn’t get what they needed, I just gave them all the money I had. David promised to sort me out with £325, said I had to send it to his boss, then I’d pay him back later. Told him I’m a straight-up, honest woman, so if they messed me about, I’d be fuming. Sounds a bit like a loan shark situation, doesn’t it? 😱 They kept saying things like “I’ll ring you back,” “Your money will be in your account tomorrow,” but here I am on day two, with no cash and no loan. Hoping I get my original £200 back, but they say it might take up to 14 days. Honestly, never again will I go near these lot. 😡😡😡DavidShahanaj BegumBangladesh9 yearsThose fools tricked me out of £85, but I’m gonna make sure they pay for it.9 yearsThey tricked me out of £105, definitely avoid it.9 yearsThey tried to take money from me.9 yearsOut of nowhere, these lot called me up saying I’m eligible for a £500 loan with repayments of £55 a month for a year. They wanted my bank card sort code and account number, plus a screenshot of my bank statement. Then, when £200 showed in my account, I sent it back to them through Western Union using the sort code and account details they gave me. Afterwards, I figured out it was a scam after googling one of their numbers and landing on this site. Western Union confirmed it too, and my bank statement didn’t show any company name either. Now they’re hassling me and my partner with the police because we can’t get the money back. The bank told me to leave it as they might be able to recover it, and I’ve already reported everything to Action Fraud. Even so, they keep bombarding us on both our phones, plus they’ve been calling me on my mobile pretending to be from my own home number. It’s proper stressful!Western UnionGoogleAction Fraud9 yearsBeware of this number, it’s a total scam. They’re really nasty and pushy, even threatening you. I’ve already reported them to ActionFraud. He told me he could sort me out with a £2500 loan, paying about £80 a month for three years. He promised no upfront payment for the first month. Then he said he'd connect me to the accounts team for the transfer. Things went quiet for a bit, then an Indian lady got on the phone saying the money would be in my bank within a couple of hours. But then she mentioned I had to pay the first month's instalment straight away, and that's when I got suspicious. I didn’t send them any cash.Charlie Thompson9 yearsThey rang me, so I decided to ring back and asked them to remove my number. An Indian lady answered, and she basically threatened me saying if I called again, I wouldn’t know what might happen. I phoned back and spoke to a bloke who was trying to sell me loans, but I told him I didn’t want anything. I ended the call, only for him to ring me from my own mobile number! I lost it and shouted at him. He claimed he could get hold of my bank details and anything he wanted. Absolute scumbag! I told him I’d report him to the police and that I was recording the call.
