The call came through with loads of background noise, sounded like some busy call centre. I never got to hear what it was about because just as the person promised to quiet down, they ended the call on me! Quite strange really.

Got a call from some bloke about insurance for my washing machine. When I asked him to identify himself, he just ended the call. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from a bloke with a british accent who told me my washing machine cover was up. He actually knew my name, which threw me a bit. I told him i'd still got ages before it expired and he just ended the call right away. If he’d called when the cover was really due for renewal, i probably would’ve fallen for it without thinking.
