They said my washing machine warranty had run out, but I had just renewed it. When I pointed this out, the call just got cut off. Feels like a scam, right?

As soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up.

They started the call by telling me our name and where we lived, then went on to say that our washing machine’s warranty was nearly up, and asked if we wanted to get an extended warranty straight away. As soon as I said we hadn’t got any warranty like that, they just hung up without another word.
