Someone called saying they were with EE and offered to cut my bill in half. When I asked some questions, they just ended the call.

I could barely make out that horrible accent from the scammer. Usually I'd just let those calls ring out, but since I thought it was someone from London, I picked up. Honestly, wouldn't it be easier if Trump just dealt with these terrible places once and for all?

Got some dodgy calls leaving messages on my answerphone, reckon it’s a scam.

Got a call where the person said they were from my mobile provider, but there was loads of noise in the background. Definitely felt like one of those dodgy call centre scams.

Honestly, they treated me so badly :( It felt like they were just being rude nonstop :( Repeatedly, they were really unpleasant :( I couldn’t believe how mean they were :( It was like they didn't care at all and just kept being nasty :( Felt pretty awful dealing with them :(

Called a few times but no message left when I didn’t pick up. Felt like a scam to me because they just ended the call on me.

Got a call supposedly from EE, but the accent gave it away as one of those call centres in India or somewhere similar. You could hear a lot of background noise like other people talking. They said they were offering a ‘50% off contract upgrade’ deal. When I told them I never agreed to any marketing calls, they just ended the call straight away. They rang again a few days later from the same number, so I've blocked them now.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from EE. She told me I could get half-off on my bill but had to pay that discount amount first. I wasn’t falling for it, so I just hung up straight away. Total scam!

Got a voicemail that lasted about eight seconds, but all there was was some strange foreign voices. Just another scam call, easy to block.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from "Tree Mobile" - clearly meant 3 Mobile, right? These calls come in all the time for me, at least a couple times a month. Now I've started just calling them out as fraudsters and scammers before cutting them off and blocking the number. I can’t imagine anyone still gets caught by these tricks, but they must or else they’d have stopped by now, I guess.

Couldn’t pick up the call since my phone was buried in my pocket while I was driving. Honestly, after checking out the comments, it’s probably a good thing - whoever called would have got a right earful from me.

Definitely a scam. Got a call from 3 and they were asking if I was tied into some kind of contract with them - bit strange since I don’t think they’d have that info already.

Watch out, these folks can get real sneaky. They might suddenly wanna know how much cash you got in your account. They come up with all sorta stories - like trying to sell you stuff or saying they wanna guard your money from bank robbery! Seriously, don’t share any info with em!

Absolute rubbish scammer with shocking English, couldn’t even figure out what firm she was claiming to be from. Maybe EE or Sky, but no idea. Looks like she just got a UK number but is defo sitting god knows where miles away in scam land.

This woman with an American accent rang both my phones claiming to be from EE. She said she could help me save £50 a month and that nothing would change. When I asked her to tell me the name on the account, she instead wanted me to give all my personal info for 'security checks'. I repeated my question about the account name and she replied by asking if I was actually an EE customer. That’s when I decided to hang up.
