Got another call from some scammer trying to say they're with Sky and that I can get a huge discount on a phone upgrade. This lady with an Indian accent was on the line - I told her to quit calling me right away and that I’m not falling for their tricks. I’m not even a Sky customer! I’ve blocked the number, but they just ring from loads of different ones. Proper annoying!

Got two calls within half an hour. The first one was in some foreign language, but the line was so bad I couldn't catch what it was. The second call was from a woman who said her name was Hazel and sounded Indian. She said she was from Sky and tried to offer me some kind of discount and a free phone. Seemed suspicious to me.

Had a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from EE. She said there was some special deal offering half price on my plan. I quickly called her out on it and she just got rude and told me to shut up. Honestly, if you get calls from someone who sounds Indian, 99% of the time it’s just a scam. EE would never just hand out 50% discounts to everyone - that'd be a business nightmare for them.

Got a call today at 12:23pm from someone with an Indian accent, trying to pitch some kind of deal, so I just hung up straight away. Later on, at about 5:08pm the same day (4th May 2026), my phone rang again - this time it was a woman, also with an Indian accent, calling from 020 4630 7488. She was chatting about the same deal, and I could hear loads of noise like a call centre in the background. The signal kept dropping out so I ended the call. These scam callers are honestly the worst kind of people.

This was definitely a scam. They rang up claiming to be from EE, offering me half off my bill. I asked why they didn’t bother using my name, since a decent company would do that. Got loads of annoying calls from some scammer ringing at all sorts of times. My grandkid actually picked up once, and when I asked who it was, they just said some company and wanted me to say yes or no to a question. I didn’t bother, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2. Funny thing is, my number used to be with O2 ages ago but I switched long back. Turns out they were just scammers from India. It's a shame they waste their lives doing dodgy stuff and stealing from folks in the UK instead of getting a proper job.

I got a proper cheeky bloke on the phone who claimed he was from O2, but when I told him I don’t use O2, he just called me a rude name and then slammed the phone down on me. Proper rude lad!

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE offering me half price on my plan. They wanted my email, so I asked if they were actually from EE or just calling on their behalf. The woman claimed she worked directly for EE and said she’d send me a confirmation email, but nothing showed up. When I told her this, she asked for my memorable name to verify my identity. That’s when I ended the call. Felt off, like they were trying to get into my account by fishing for info. The caller was an Indian woman and it all seemed quite dodgy to me.

This morning I got a call from someone saying they were from EE. I chatted with them and managed to sort out my problem right away, so no luck for their scam. They tried to sell me an iPhone 17 for £40 a month, but I told them I’m not into Apple stuff. When I asked if there were other options, they just said goodbye and ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE, offering me a 50% discount. They then asked for my email to supposedly show me my bill. I told them to just tell me over the phone since they called me and should already have my info. As soon as I said that, they just hung up 😂😂😂

Looks like a dodgy deal pretending to give a discount for EE, definitely a scam.

I was messing around with EE for a bit, then I told them if they could lower my bill, they’d need to tell me my date of birth and where I live first 😂 and then I just hung up.

A couple of days back I got a call and my Android marked it as "Spam." From what I've read and the number of complaints, seems like it’s probably a scammer.

Got a call from someone saying they were EE, offering a pricey phone for just £30 with a two-year contract. The voice sounded Indian, but I just ended the call right away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, but the accent was Indian and it didn’t seem right at all. Sounded like a total scam to me. Be careful if you get a call like this pretending to be from EE.

Got a call from 02046288603 around 12:57 on Saturday, 25th October 2025. My phone flagged it as probable spam so I didn’t pick up. I looked up the number afterwards, saw all the bad comments here, and decided to block it straight away.

This number tried ringing me earlier today, but I didn't pick up. Definitely some sort of spam.
