I’ve had this number ring me twice now, once yesterday and again today. The person on the line claimed to be from EE and said the SIM linked to my phone number was about to be cut off. I explained that I’m no longer with EE as I transferred my number to a different provider. They said sorry and hung up. I couldn’t find any info about this number online, so I’m not sure if it was really EE calling. If I was still with EE, getting told my service was being stopped would have been worrying. I wonder if they might’ve tried to get me to pay something to avoid disconnection.
