Got a call from an unknown number, looked it up on here, and decided to block it.

This bloke claimed he was with O2. When I told him I couldn’t catch what he was saying, he just shoved the phone right up to his mouth, like he was munching on it or summat! I hung up on him, and thankfully, I haven’t heard from them again.

Earlier today, I got a call from one number and just blocked it right away. Then, about an hour later, I got another call but this time from a different number and a different person pretending to be with O2 trying to sell me a SIM offer. As soon as I told them I was onto their scam, they just ended the call.

Some bloke with an accent that didn’t sound local rang claiming he was from O2. He said there were issues with my service, so they were offering a discount on my bill. Then he asked if I’d got a six-digit code, and said if I said “yes”, he’d send it again if I hadn’t got it the first time. I didn’t say yes, just hung up 'cause it sounded dodgy and there was nothing obvious proving he really worked for O2.
