He inquired about my usual payment amount, to which I pointed out that he should already have that information if he genuinely worked for EE. He insisted it was necessary for verification purposes. Following that, he requested my address and postcode, then probed further into whether I owned the property and how long I had resided there. When I refused to divulge any personal details, he abruptly hung up.
