Got a call from a guy with an Indian or Asian accent claiming he was from 'EE' trying to convince me they could cut down my phone bill. He wanted to know what my last bill amount was. When I asked him to clarify what bill he meant, he just ended the call on me! Definitely feels like a scam.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was calling from EE. Said he wanted to help cut down my monthly charges. He asked what my usual bill was, and I told him if he really worked for EE then he’d already have that info. He said he just needed a rough idea to confirm I was the right person. Then he started asking for my address and postcode. After that, he wanted to know if I owned the place and how long I’d been living there. When I refused to share any details, he just hung up.
