They rang me like 4 times non stop. Just blocked the number.

Got a call from this number, some woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from O2. I told her I wasn’t interested and she just ended the call. Seems like a typical O2 scam trying to fish out your bank info with some fake ‘offer’ nonsense!

Tried calling back but no luck, the scammers just ignore you completely.

Sounds like one of those auto-dialling scams to me. If you pick up, it connects you to an operator and you can hear all the noise from their call centre in the background, then some scammer starts trying to con you out of cash. But if there’s no scammer free, you just get dead silence before it hangs up.

Phone just cut off right after 2 seconds, no answer at all.

Got a call from 02045996766 and it sounded like those typical South Asian call centre noises in the background with a click and a voice. I told them it was an unsolicited call and just hung up. My phone showed the number as being from London, but I reckon it was a spoofed number.

Watch out, these guys are total scammers! First, they ring you from one number and just hang up, then they try again later pretending to be from O2 or something like that. They'll text you a one-time code but seriously, don't share any details or that code with them. And whatever you do, don’t ring any of the numbers they give you back. Stay safe!

I got a call from this number but it only rang for like 2 seconds and I didn’t answer. Weirdly, at the exact same moment I also had a short call from 01997 617479, which did the same thing - just rang for a couple seconds then cut off. Are they connected or summat? Both show up as scam on here.

Someone called claiming to be from O2, trying to trick me into giving them access to my My O2 account. After that, they went and ordered phones to a couple of different locations. Definitely a scam, so be careful!

Got a call saying something like "Possible scam" or some warning like that... I just hung up straight away and never heard from them again. Honestly, no point even answering. It happened right around the same time as others mentioned here, so maybe it's a common thing now. If it was really urgent, they’d ring back, wouldn’t they?
