I picked up the call but remained silent, and the caller unleashed a tirade of insults, repeating “you piece of rubbish” two times. I replied, asking what he hoped to achieve with such language. He backtracked, claiming he hadn't said that and was actually speaking to someone else. Then, without missing a beat, he hurled more expletives my way. I promptly blocked him!

Yesterday, I had a chap named Lucas give me a bell about loft insulation. I mentioned that my loft was already properly insulated. However, he called me again today, relentless in his pursuit, insisting on sending over some blokes to inspect my loft. I ended that call rather abruptly. Then, he was at it again, ringing me persistently. When I finally picked up to ask him to cease his calls, he launched into a tirade of expletives and called me some rather unpleasant names. I've since blocked that number.
