This caller has rung me three times this week but I never picked up as the number’s not saved in my contacts and they left no voicemail either. I’ve now blocked it. It’s the same old scam, trying to make you ring them back. They won’t pick up when you do, but it gets logged on their end. Then they’ll ring you up again, but from a new number. Honestly, we’re planning to ditch our landline altogether. Maybe then the answerphone can finally get a break and my family won’t have to pay for these pointless calls from scripted time-wasters who prey on vulnerable folks.
