On the 15th of June 2023, around 11:14, I got a call from 02045871850. The person on the other end kept pushing solar panels and barely let me say anything - kinda a waste on their part. I feel like this number has rung me up before, but I’m not totally certain.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with a solar firm, asking if I was the owner of the house. I just replied, "Honestly, I’m not sure, do you know better than me?" Before he could say anything else, I cut him off and called him out for being a scammer. Told him to quit messing about and gave him a proper telling off. Then I went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

When I picked up it was completely silent at first, then this clicking sound, and suddenly a posh English woman claims to be ringing from a firm that deals with solar panels, saying she knows I own the house! I didn’t say a word, so she asked if I was listening after another beep. Still no answer from me, then the call just dropped! I first noticed these calls around a month ago, but now they’ve started putting in that “Hello” after the second beep!
