This week alone I’ve had three calls from this number, two of them just today. I saved the number under my contacts so I can just ignore it now. The caller claimed I’d won £1,500,000 in a lottery but needed to pay £1000 upfront to cover travel costs to the US to collect it. Obviously, I ignored the whole thing, but they keep ringing. They even gave me an address in Great Yarmouth to send a cheque to. I tried contacting the Norfolk Police about it, but they said it wasn’t their issue and told me to go through “ACTION FRAUD.” When I tried to get through there, I kept failing to connect. They really don’t seem to care. The caller said they were from “FRESHFIELD SOLICITORS” and gave a reference number 04988. Their number was 02045869007. Just for context, I’m based in Lancashire.

They say they're from The Central Bank of The Philippines and use an email almost the same as the real bank’s, but with slight changes. Every time I ask them where they’re calling from, they dodge the question. They keep calling over and over. I'd say watch out for these guys.
