I've received a couple of calls from this number this week, much like many others. The call begins with an awkward pause before a bloke named "Sam" chimes in, asking if I can hear him. Honestly, does he presume that everyone over a certain age is hard of hearing, or does he think we're all a bit dim to buy into his nonsense? I just calmly told him to jog on and hung up. It's rather despicable how they target those who might be more susceptible.

Received a rather peculiar call on my landline at 10:17 this morning from 02045798362. They went on about some health concerns, presumably due to my age as I’ve reached over 60, offering me a pendant for emergencies at the rather steep price of £1.79 a day. They even suggested I could get one for a family member too. I inquired about their identity and how they obtained my number, but they went eerily quiet. Eventually, I lost patience and hung up. It all felt rather off to me-these types of calls really grind my gears!

Today around 11:29 am, I got a call from a young bloke named Sam trying to sell me a wearable medical alert device. He claimed he had info showing someone over 60 lived at my place and that I needed one. I asked him what company he was with and what exactly they were selling since he started quoting prices without me even saying I needed anything. Beware of this medical con! A caller posed as a local healthcare provider, insisting I qualify for an "emergency pendant" due to being listed among elderly individuals with health concerns. They tried to create a sense of urgency, implying I would be left in a precarious situation without their gadget. It’s clear they are aiming to exploit and coerce older folks into sharing personal details and cash. Don’t engage or divulge any information over the phone. Simply inquire about the source of their list, and it’s likely they’ll hang up on you posthaste.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be a medical worker called Sam, said he was local. Never bothered to ask for me by name. When I started asking him stuff, he just stopped talking. Definitely felt like some kind of scam.

Today, our landline got a call from a number we didn't know. We let it ring out and go to voicemail, but there was no message left at all. So, I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Got a call about medical alarms, said my number was blocked or something dodgy like that - definitely a scam.

This person called saying they were a health care worker and told me "based on your medical history you qualify for an alert pendant." For starters, if anyone outside the NHS has my health info, that’s a serious breach. Then they're pretending to be a healthcare professional, which is definitely against the law. And to top it off, I’m only 53, so I don’t need one of those devices at all. Honestly, these scammers deserve a proper police investigation, not just a TPS complaint!

These phone calls are such a nuisance! It’s absolutely perplexing how my details are getting out there. Someone must be held accountable for this! I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, and thankfully, Mynohkns helps to filter out these bothersome calls.

This number has rung me twice in the last few days. The bloke said his name was Sam and claimed he worked for some sort of Health Care firm. Since we’re registered with TPS, I asked him straight away how he got my number. After that, he just hung up on me. Definitely a scam call.

I got a call like this earlier today, seemed fishy from the start, the person said they were from the local NHS. They mentioned I had some serious health problem, but wouldn’t say what exactly. I just said I wasn’t interested in any help right now. The caller sounded pretty polite and even said have a nice day. Definitely looks like a scam to me, I’ll be contacting my NHS doctor to check.

This person just keeps calling over and over again. It’s always the same number every single time!

The caller said they were from some medical alarms company, but totally ignored who they were actually speaking to and just rattled on with some script. It seemed like some robo call pretending to be a real person. I ended up hanging up. My other half has only just got back from a 6 week hospital stay, so it kinda made sense, but their total lack of reacting to what I said made me think it was dodgy.

This bloke called saying I needed a medical alert pendant because of a health issue. I asked where they got my details and what firm they were with. He mentioned some place in Dorset, but that didn’t match the 0204 area code showing on my phone. I told him to remove my number from their system. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Got a call from someone with a British accent, claiming I was on some kind of list for elderly people with health issues. He was attempting to push a call button service for emergencies. The guy stuck to a script and couldn’t really respond properly when I questioned him. Once I asked how he even knew my age, he quickly ended the call. At least he accepted my refusal! The whole thing felt very mechanical and he didn’t handle any questions well. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Like everyone else here, I just told the bloke to jog on.

Got a call from what sounded like a real person but it was just an automated voice trying to scam me about some medical stuff. Felt totally fake and sketchy. Watch out for these sneaky scams!

Some bloke with a British accent called himself Sam and claimed to know about my health problems. He tried to tell me I was eligible for a free alarm pendant that would alert medical help if I had a fall. I told him he must be mistaken and to stop bothering me, then hung up. But he was pretty pushy and rang again right away, though I just ignored the second call.

Got another call from this number or one like it. Some bloke claimed he was from the local NHS and said my health issues mean I qualify for a free medical alert device. I told him I'm not interested at all and just ended the call. In hindsight, I should've asked where he got his info from, who he works for, and if his boss is cool with tricking folks like this.

They just gave us a ring, sounds like one of those dodgy medical scams. Best not to talk to them, or you could end up with an empty bank account, definitely!
