Every time I tell them I screen my calls they just end up hanging up. I've gotten loads of calls from numbers that look alike and they all do the same thing. It's getting really annoying.

They keep ringing me but when I block one number, they just switch the last digit and try again. It's like a never ending game.

I got a call from this number claiming it was a survey about getting loft insulation to cut energy bills. I told the person I’m registered with the TPS and that they weren’t allowed to call me. After that, I just hung up.

I got a random call out of the blue from this number, claiming to be from HSBC about some dodgy transaction linked to my bank account. The person on the line urged me to access my mobile banking app and generate a security code so they could supposedly “halt that transaction.” It was painfully obvious that this was a scam - quite a blatant one at that.

I didn't fall for it and gave HSBC a ring myself - turns out, they never contacted me and everything was fine with my account. Total scam attempt, watch out!
