My laptop suddenly froze, the screen turned red and a voice kept saying that my APPLE IOS was locked because of a Trojan virus. It kept warning me not to shut down or reboot the machine until I called the emergency number on the screen, which was 020 457 4584. At first, I gave them a ring but got suspicious and quickly hung up. They called me back within a couple of minutes, but I cut the call straight away and blocked the number. Afterwards, I managed to restart the laptop and ran a virus check, but it didn’t find anything. Honestly, this scam is really risky.

It was definitely a scam, they called me up asking for details about my bank cards and how much cash I had in my account. Then they said I needed to pay £30 to get assistance. After finding out I only had £35 in there, they ended up taking all my money.
