Received a call at 9am on a Saturday, and it seems it was yet another one of those energy company pitches. Honestly, I seem to receive these types of calls on a rather frequent basis. Just ten minutes after I’d firmly requested them to refrain from calling in the future, my phone rang again! The chap on the line had a pronounced Indian accent, and I made it clear how irritated I was that he’d bothered me once more. I warned him that should he dare to ring again, I'd have no hesitation in reporting his antics as harassment. He seemed rather eager to disconnect. I suspect there’s something off about this operation. I've now taken the precaution of blocking that number.

Thought about messing about with her to waste her time - every minute she spends on me is less time bothering someone else - but I was too knackered for that. So I just sighed and left the phone lying there. She said "hello" a few times before hanging up. Pretty sure it was a total scam since I’ve never had Sky at all.

They claimed to be from Sky, mentioning that my contract was being terminated because they had supposedly forwarded a letter six months back stating that they no longer accept direct debit payments. I got a call from 02045773155 while I was in Bournemouth. Luckily, I have BT Guardian set up because I've been getting loads of annoying spam calls lately. So when they rang, I just heard the BT Guardian alert and then the call ended. I checked the number on a few websites, but this one stood out as a phishing scam used by spam callers. I've since blocked it for good. Honestly, BT Guardian is brilliant - it’s stopped pretty much every spam call I've had! Definitely worth having.

A woman called, and when I questioned how she got my details (I’m a former director), she then asked about having a Sky box. I don’t have anything to do with Sky. She ended the call straight away. Pretty clear it’s a scam. This is the fourth time in two days, each time from a new number. From now on, I’ll just let the answerphone take calls because they never bother to leave a message anyway.

Yet another dubious line that Ofcom ought to be getting a grip on-though I won't hold my breath with Johnson's administration at the helm. It’s all just a scam-the whole lot of it!
