Got a couple of calls today from someone pretending to be from my bank, pretty sure it's a scam.

They kept ringing me up saying they've got a wallet waiting for me and tried getting me to log into some site. Honestly, don’t hand over any info to these lot. They just wouldn’t leave me alone with the calls either.

For an entire week, I’ve been getting calls, sometimes three or four times a day, from someone with a rather strong Pakistani accent. They seem determined to sell me something, but their approach is incredibly overbearing. I can't help but wish for a proper face-to-face encounter - perhaps then they'd pipe down a bit. I’ve been very clear with them: I tell them where to go and share my true feelings. If they’ve got the guts, they should come and face me in person. Just a bunch of scam artists, if you ask me!

Then, just yesterday, I received another call from someone purporting to represent Legal & General.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from some financial planning company, saying they’d found my wallet in London. Thing is, I don’t even carry a wallet and haven’t been to London recently. The woman had a weird foreign accent, so I just hung up. They tried ringing back later but I didn’t pick up.

Got a call claiming there was a massive withdrawal from my bank and they needed me to send my password to fix it. Obviously a scam trying to get into your account. Don't fall for it!
