I got a call from someone claiming to work for BT Open Reach, saying my IP address had switched from 'Private' to 'Public', meaning anyone could access my system now. The caller already knew my full name and address, then started asking about my internet gear and what I did online. When I asked what they were trying to do with all this info, they quickly ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
