On the 11th of Feb 2022, about 4.09pm, I got a call from a bloke calling himself Dave claiming he was from Sky. I said hello and he just went over the same intro again. I told him “have a good one” and then ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was ringing from Sky, telling me my maintenance cover needed renewing. He kept saying it’s all connected with the Sky direct debit. I tried asking loads of questions to catch him out, but he was dead stubborn. I told him straight up he was a scammer and a parasite, then he just hung up saying “Alright, your call, we’ll just apply a £70 cancellation charge.” While he was still talking, I looked up the number on Google and told him it’s been flagged as a dodgy scam, but he didn’t drop it one bit!
