5 yearsFraudulent caller! They purport to be from UK Life Ltd., probing into my life insurance details, seemingly just to harvest my personal info. I’ve since blocked their number.UK Life Ltd.5 yearsGot a call from these insurance lot, tried ringing me twice. Picked up the second go and all I got was some robotic voice saying goodbye. They reckon they’ve got my address but I moved about 12 years back, so they’re well off. Proper pests.5 yearsI’ve tried blocking this number, but it keeps ringing me non-stop. It’s driving me bonkers! Can’t seem to get it to stop.5 yearsThey’ve been ringing me up 4 times this morning alone, like clockwork every day around breakfast and then again about tea time. Next day the calls keep coming but the last 4 to 6 numbers change a bit each time. Sounds like some call centre in India pushing insurance plans. The number I got was 02045750257, definitely blocking them.5 yearsSome bloke named Alex rang me - not convinced that’s his real name though. He said he was phoning from UK Life Care Ltd, asking about life insurance. Funny thing is, I looked them up on Companies House and there’s a Life Care UK, but they don’t deal with insurance at all. I tried getting him to say where his firm is actually based, but he didn’t appreciate the questions and kept saying it wasn’t relevant and why I needed to know. I told him I run my own business and always want to understand who I’m speaking to and check their credentials. Then he told me I was wasting his time - cheeky git, considering he called me while I was in the middle of something. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now, though I doubt it’ll stop them because they’re probably ringing from some VoIP setup on the back of a scooter somewhere in Mumbai.
