3 yearsGot a call from this number in London but missed it. When I tried calling back, it seemed like some kind of automated message.London3 yearsThey pretended to be from O2 and asked me to share my email so they could supposedly send a password reset link. Somehow, they managed to get me to change my password to one they had already set, then logged into my account. From there, they accessed loads of info like my address, monthly bills, postcode, and extra phone numbers. Then they asked for the code I got on my phone to set up a new direct debit with a discount - but that’s when I said no! So they didn’t manage to scam me financially, but they still ended up with all my personal details. Seriously, watch out for this kind of scam!3 yearsGot a message from Vodafone saying I missed a call from this number, which started with +44, so I guess it’s from abroad. My phone didn’t ring at all though, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.Vodafone3 yearsGot a call from some bloke in India, said he was from 3 network or something. Asked him for his postcode, then out of nowhere he started swearing at me and dropped the phone. Proper scammer that one.India3 Network3 yearsI got a call from a company claiming I could get 20% off my phone bill. They asked for my email to supposedly check my account. Then they said they’d sent a link to reset my password for my ‘o2’ account - even though I’m not a customer of o2 at all. When I asked why I had to reset my password, they told me it was needed so they could access my account and apply the discount. It felt dodgy to me because any genuine company wouldn’t require you to change your password like that. Watch out if you get a call from this number - it’s definitely a scam.3 yearsAnswered the phone and all I got was some robotic voice saying bye.3 yearsToday I got a call from someone sounding very Indian who claimed I could get a 40% discount because I’m a Three customer. I knew it was dodgy straight away, so I just ended the call. Total scam if you ask me.Submit Your Own Report (020 4571 8404)
