2 yearsI received a missed call from this number. (London) It seems rather robotic in nature.London2 yearsI had quite the unsettling experience recently. Someone masquerading as O2 reached out to me, requesting my email details to send a reset link for my password. How they managed it baffles me, but they somehow got me to alter my password to one they had already concocted and accessed my account. Once in, they could view all sorts of personal information-my address, monthly bills, postcode, and various other numbers. At one stage, they insisted I provide the code sent to my phone for setting up a new direct debit at a discounted rate; it was here that I drew the line! Fortunately, I didn’t fall victim to their ruse, but they now possess all my personal information. Please exercise caution!2 yearsI got a message from Vodafone alerting me that I’d missed a call from this number, which came with a +44 code. This makes me think it’s an international call, and I’m wagering it’s a scam. What’s more, my phone didn’t even ring, so it’s all a bit suspicious, if you ask me.Vodafone2 yearsReceived a dodgy call from a number based in India, claiming to be from a company named 3 Network. They requested my postcode, and when I refused, the caller resorted to some rather colourful language before cutting the line. What a cheek!India3 Network2 yearsI received a phone call from a company claiming that I was eligible for a 20% reduction on my mobile bill. They requested my email address to access my account, insisting they had sent a link to reset my password for my 'o2' account. The thing is, I don't actually use o2! When I probed further about the necessity of the password reset, they told me it was so they could access my account and apply the discount. It’s clear to me that a legitimate company wouldn’t require such measures. I urge everyone to exercise caution if you get a call from this number-without a doubt, it's a scam!2 yearsAnswered the call only to be greeted by a pre-recorded farewell message.2 yearsI had a rather dubious phone call from a chap boasting an Indian accent, claiming that as a Three mobile user, I was eligible for a whopping 40% discount. It was clear to me that this was a scam, so I swiftly terminated the call.Submit Your Own Report (020 4571 8404)
