Had a strong accent, done all the typical "hello how are you" stuff, said his name was John but it sounded like some sort of automated recording asking questions. If you responded, it connected you to real people. The background noise was shocking, so I just hung up, blocked the number and reported it. Not sure if that'll actually make a difference though.

The guy on the phone had a strong accent and was hard to understand. He said he was calling from Carphone Warehouse, working with my phone provider to offer upgrades on phones and plans. He then asked for details about my phone and provider! When I asked how he got my number, he just repeated the same dodgy line from the start. I'm on the TPS list, never dealt with Carphone Warehouse and my provider knows not to bother me. I told him he was a scammer and ended the call straight away.

Got a call on 22/10/21 from a different number, so I just blocked it. Then today they rang again from this new number claiming to be from O2, trying to offer me a 30% discount if I shared my O2 info. I told them if they really worked for O2, they’d already have that info. I said I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
