Someone rang me pretending to be from HMRC, talking about this new tax digital thing, and wanted to speak with the company director. Sounded a bit off to me.

My BT phone flagged it as a nuisance, so I just didn’t pick up. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

Got a call from this number around 8:45pm tonight. They hung up without leaving a voicemail but kept the line open for about 4 minutes. I could hear some background chatter about surveys, like a bunch of people talking. Definitely a scam, so best not to engage with whoever it is!
