Got a call from a guy with an Indian-ish accent, sounds like a busy call centre in the background. He was asking for someone called Martin Davidson (no idea who that is). Definitely one of those dodgy debt scam calls. I told him I wasn't falling for it and he literally admitted, "Yeah, I know I'm lying"... lol!

Got a call from someone with a heavy Indian accent who said he was 'Gary' and that he was ringing from the Citizens Advice Bureau about some unsecured debts. There was a lot of background noise, sounded like a busy call centre or something.

I got a call from a bloke overseas who actually knew my name, which caught me off guard. When I asked him what he wanted, he claimed he was calling from the citizens advice bureau. I just responded with "oh yeah?" and he immediately ended the call. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam.

I contacted Citizens Advice about these calls, explained it was a scam, and asked them to stop. They said I had to provide ID to get removed from their calling list, to which I just told them to jog on and ended the call. After that, I reported the number and blocked it. Over the past fortnight, I’ve received about five calls from the same dodgy outfit, always using names like John or David, which is clearly fake!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the UK Government and Social Health Care services. Since I’m trying to sort out care for my very sick dad, it was really worrying. Me and a family member tried ringin’ them back but the number didn’t match up with any local council or care services we usually contact. Proper scam, right? They’re playing games pretending to be government, which is not only rude but illegal too. Such a nasty trick and a waste of time when you’ve got real stuff to deal with.
