This number has called me loads this week, like six times. I finally answered today and some guy from what sounded like a noisy call centre told me I’d won a TV word search contest I apparently entered back in December. He said the prize was about £10,000 but I’d have to pay £1.95 for postage. I just told him to jog on and hung up - total scam. I've blocked the number since then.

Today and yesterday I saw missed calls from 0204 5483304 but didn’t pick up since I usually ignore unknown numbers. Since it happened twice and they didn’t leave a voicemail, I figured I’d look into it. Just sharing here in case someone else gets it, seems like it might be a scam.

Got a call earlier from this number saying I’d won some kind of prize draw. But they said I needed to pay £1.95 for postage and then £8.95 every two weeks after that. When I said no thanks, the guy on the other end kept insisting I had to pay the £1.95 by card straight away. I wouldn’t give out my bank info, and that’s when he started being really rude and accusing me of wasting his time. Proper unpleasant experience!

Got a call today from this number saying I’d won a prize, but I’d need to pay £1.95 for postage and then £8.95 every two weeks after that. Got a call about some TV contest I supposedly won last December. They mentioned a firm I’d never heard of and I’m pretty sure it’s not the actual competition I took part in. They offered free entry into a bigger draw along with some gifts, but insisted I cough up £1.95 for postage. Asked them to prove they were legit before handing over any money. They said they'd send proof, but I never got anything. Be careful if this number rings you and don’t hand over your details. Feels like a total scam to me.

I got a call from this number from someone with a northern accent saying I’d won a prize in a wordsearch competition they said was on TV. They claimed I'd won free lottery tickets but there was a small fee, around £1 something, and asked how I'd like to pay. I only gave them my name, yet they somehow knew my address already. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
