These ones are not to be trusted at all.4 yearsGot a call from someone trying to scam me. Definitely not legit. Be careful out there, folks!4 yearsBEWARE OF SCAMMERS, DON'T PICK UP!4 yearsLike many, I received a message claiming that I had a Blockchain account holding 2.8 bitcoins, and that it would be terminated due to inactivity. It was immediately clear to me that this was a scam, as I’ve never set up such an account.4 yearsI received a phone call from an individual claiming to be Max Warren, purporting to be affiliated with Blockchain. He informed me that my so-called Bitcoin account had been locked due to inactivity and some dubious activity attributed to it. I emphatically stated that I was quite certain I had never opened such an account. Interestingly, this wasn't the first time-back in mid-February, I had a similar encounter with someone named Alexander Walters, who also insisted that I owned a Bitcoin account, to which I responded with a denial. That chap tried to convince me to transfer £819.00 to reinstate this so-called account, promising that I'd receive a vast sum of £81,000.00 in return. I decided to email them, instructing them to utilise their company funds for the account activation, suggesting they could deduct the activation fee-and any other charges-before sending me a cheque for the rest. To no one’s surprise, I never heard back. Clearly, it’s just a scam!Max WarrenBlockchainBitcoinAlexander Walters4 yearsGot a call out of the blue about some blockchain and bitcoin thing. For me, I got this smooth-talking guy with an Asian accent ringing in first, telling me my bitcoin account was locked up. He said he was from Blockchain and that if I transferred 0.015btc, they'd unlock around 69k for me. They keep calling back constantly, so I’m just going to keep stringing it along for my own amusement. Honestly, if loads of us did this, it’d be a right pain for these scammers.
