I picked up the phone and inquired about the caller’s origin. He disclosed his location, but then unleashed a barrage of nonsensical chatter. I attempted to interject, but he kept talking over me. Suddenly, he became quite hostile and told me to ‘bugger off’-his exact words! It was bizarre; he switched back to his pre-prepared spiel as if nothing had happened. I fired back with my own choice words and promptly ended the call.
