They purport to be from the “Virgin Media Sales Department,” but they quickly contradicted themselves by saying they’d obtained my number from some list. The call quality was absolutely dreadful, and I suspect they were attempting to pull a fast one on me regarding the latest iPhone or something similar. When I asked them some straightforward questions to authenticate their identity, they just cut the line. Quite the dodgy experience!
