Someone said they were calling from Amazon and wanted to verify a couple of my email addresses. They asked to talk to whoever handles purchases, so I asked them to prove they were really from Amazon. They promised to send me an email to confirm but first asked for my name so they knew who to email. I told them if they were legit, they’d already have my details. After that, I got in touch with Amazon directly and they said the number definitely wasn’t theirs.

Got a call from someone saying they were ringing on behalf of Amazon. They told me I needed to switch my personal account over to a business one. Sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me, didn’t seem right at all. Thought I’d better check up on it before doing anything. Very suspicious!
