They called me using a London number and even knew my name, but said it was about a washing machine I'd supposedly registered at some place like Dock View or Block View. I told them I had no idea what they were on about and just ended the call. You could hear other people chatting in the background, so it was definitely a call centre. Honestly, with the UK still in lockdown and everyone told to stay home and only do essential stuff, it’s pretty selfish of that company to make their staff go out and risk everyone’s health like that.

Got a call from 02045292689 around 5.45pm. I thought it was someone I was meant to hear from since it was a London number, so I rang back. But it didn’t take long to figure out it was just a call centre, so I hung up straight away. Won’t be answering them again!

When I picked up, no one said anything. It might have been a wrong number but the call didn’t end on its own, so after waiting a bit, I ended it myself.
